Where
is it?
Princi
(a well established institution in Milan) has now arrived in London and
can be found at 135 Wardour Street W1F 0UT in the heart of Soho.
What is it like? What do they
sell?
This
is best described as Fast food Italian style - which means chaotic but
very tasty! This place always seems to be busy and there's a very good
reason for that as you'll discover when you try the food. It's also
very popular with Italians living in London.
The long counter which
stretches down two sides of the main restaurant provide a dazzling
selection of:
- Breads
and pastries
- Pizzas
- Salads
- Main
course pasta and main course dishes
- Coffees
and drinks
Go there for a coffee, a snack or a main meal. The staff will plate
your meal for you and put it on a tray - all you need to do then is pay
and find yourself a seat!
You can also buy foods to take away.
When do they open? When should
I go?
They are open every day,
Monday - Saturday 7am - midnight;
Sunday 9am - 10pm.
Any time you are in the
neighbourhood you should give it a try!
What is their speciality?
It all looks good
but their breads and pastries are special.
Do
I need to make a reservation?
No, it's not that sort of place! Just turn up and fight your way though
the chaos. Expect to share a table too!
